La tierra

Los alumnos de tercero y cuarto ya han empezado a estudiar geografía física y las partes de la tierra en una nueva unidad integrada de español y ciencias. En clase experimentaremos con la formacion de volcanes y aprenderemos sobre la avenida de los volcanes en Ecuador.


Third and fourth grade students have already started the new integrated unit Spanish-Science on Earth Science. We will learn about the parts of the Earth, landforms and how volcanoes form. We will experiment and learn about the Volcano Avenue in Ecuador.

PEACE TALES AROUND THE WORLD

We are excited to announce our next field trip for our third, fourth and fifth grade classes to the Old Town School to see PEACE TALES AROUND THE WORLD.
We will embark in a multicultural journey around the globe in search of world peace. Travel to Africa, the Middle East, India, China, Mexico and America and stories, dances and traditions come alive! Ya llega el carnaval!


Carnaval is a big celebration in Spain and in all Spanish speaking countries. At Ward we will celebrate by making our own carnaval masks!

Clases de español para adultos / Spanish for adults

Fiesta de fin de curso! Here at Ward School we celebrated our last day of Spanish class for adults on Wednesday March 2nd, 2011. We had a great time eating tacos and drinking horchata and reviewing everything we learned. We hope to be back next school year with more activities for the community!Hasta pronto!
